The AFF Cup 2022 will take place from December 20, 2022 to January 16, 2023. In which, the group stage will take place from December 23, 2022 to January 4, 2023. The semi-finals will be played on January 7 and 10, 2023. The two finals will take place on January 12 and 15, 2023. The group stage of the AFF Cup 2022 will take place in a round-robin format of 5 teams. Each team can play 2 home matches and 2 away matches. The teams that won the top 2 positions in each group will enter the semi-finals and continue to play 2 matches away and back to find out who won tickets to play the final.
The final match also features the first leg and the return leg. AFF Cup 2022 still applies the home and away goal rule for the elimination matches from the semi-finals.
